TalkGroup Accessibility
Our goal
We want everyone to be able to use the TalkGroup website and app. We aim for the website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Pages work with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Pages are built with headings, landmarks, and labels that screen readers such as VoiceOver understand.
- Text and controls meet WCAG color contrast levels.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Animation stops when your device is set to reduce motion.
- The launch list form has labeled fields and announces errors.
Known limits
The animated talk button on the home page is a demonstration. It responds to the keyboard and announces what it shows, but it does not send or play any sound.
Tell us about a problem
If something on the website or in the app is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, email [email protected]. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will try to fix it or get you the information another way.
